The Buffalo National
River, located 1 ½ - 2 hours south of Branson, is one of the few
remaining unpolluted, free-flowing rivers in the lower 48 states. This river
offers both swift-running and placid stretches. The Buffalo cuts its way
through massive limestone bluffs for 150 miles as it travels eastward through
the Ozarks and into the White River. Visitors will find great canoeing,
kayaking and hiking trails. |
